In this episode, you are going to learn the importance of protecting your environment and choosing and environment that will help your during your personal transformation journey. The books your read, the friends you have, the media you engage in, all contribute to who you are.
- Check your inner circle. You are like your closest 5 friends. As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17 (NIV)
- Monitor the information you read, listen to and engage in. If you engage in negativity you will get negative results
- Every seed produces after it’s own kind. If you invest a lot of time in gossip, you will become a gossip. If you invest plenty of time training as a body builder, your body will change to reflect the results. “The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit with seed in them, after their kind; and God saw that it was good” Genesis 1:12 (NASB)
- Be mindful of your thoughts. You are the sub-total of all your thoughts up-to this point. “Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things”. Philippians 4:8 (KJV)
- The words you say create contribute in creating your reality. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:45 (NKJV)
