In this episode we will address the subject of rejection and restoration. Do you remember that song by Whitney Houston “where do the broken hearts go” Love it when u was younger.
A few weeks ago I was listening to a pastor on its supernatural by Sid Roth and the pastor mentioned at some point his church had stopped growing and everything in his life had become stargnant. The pastor took time out to seek God and find answers. 3 weeks of intense prayer and fasting he started getting flash backs of his childhood. His father had aboundened them when he was 6 yrs old. All these years he was living with a broken heart and didn’t know it. Thank God he got restored and everything in his life started to progress again.
Revelation: You can live with a broken heart and not even know it. It’s the scheme of the enemy to keep you in darkness. Because once you know the truth, you shall be set free.
Causes of a broken heart to mention a few Loss (loved ones, property, things), Hurtful words, Perception, Divorce, Rejection, Bullying, Abusive situations
Rejection comes dressed up in many forms like e.g. Anger, Pride, Arrogance, Low self esteem, Bitterness, Unforgiveness, Controlling, Judgemental, Perfectionist, People pleaser, Lack of self control, Lack of self worth, Self sabotage.
God asked us to praise him with all our hearts and minds. But with a broken heart, that will not be possible. Neither will you be able to fulfill you purpose because of all the hinderess that come with a broken heart. I’m sure some of you are wondering why you can’t progress in life. You have a path and a past full of destruction and mediocrity not only for yourself but in the family lineage. The great news is that through Jesus Christ , we can be healed. ” I came to heal the broken hearted and set the captives free”.
Prayer: Father God, thank for being our “I AM”. Thank you for sending your only son Jesus Christ whose precious blood cleanses all my sins and heals all my pains. Thank you for my full restoration of my mind, body and soul so I can serve you better. By your strips I was healed. Through Jesus name Amen.
